Email access, again

Rex,

the other reagrding this problem was badly mangled (email adresses
missing and such). Somewhere there is software involved that's much to
clever for its own good.

This is what I wrote, with email adresses obfuscated now:

I stiil get all emails from the forum

From: "JP Software Forums" <neil at jpsoft.com>"

with a

From: MLK <tc_support at jpsoft.com>
Reply-To: tc_support at jpsoft.com

Since my email reader (OE) is uncapable to create a rule for "reply to"
or "From: MLK", all emails end up in an existing folder for Neil (neil
at jpsoft.com).

This is _very_ frustrating. I feel there was no need to change a system
into which many of us had invested a lot of time to create rules to sort
JP's forum emails into the appropriate folders.

Mails before the change had e.g.

From: Charles Dye <tc_support at jpsoft.com>
Reply-To: tc_support at psoft.com

"From: MLK" was missing

Something went clearly wrong IMHO. Could you _please_ revert _soon_ to
the old system, where readers like OE could sort your forum emails? Or
install newsgroup access?

Mit freundlichem Gruß,

Klaus Meinhard

Rex,

the email problem is partly solved now. Instead of only one

header each email now has ttwo:

The second From: header seems to supercede the first and allows OE to
sort the messages into their folders. I don't know how other readers
will react to two different "From." headers.

Thanks nonetheless, however, for the fix.

This does not allow gmail to sort properly. Please fix properly, to
generate well-formed emails (with a single from header).
Paul.
