We did an upgrade to the vBulletin software a few days ago which seems to have broken the email posting. We're going to roll back to the previous version today & see if that solves the problem.

The messages haven't been lost; they're just stuck in the server's inbox.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

I'm hoping that change was made on September 20. That's when I started
getting badly formatted email messages. Now they seem to be better
again.

It seems to be working now, but the problem of everything coming from

From: "JP Software Forums" <[email protected]>

is back (I think it went away briefly). When the amil started working, I got 23 messages ... all nicely threaded in my reader, and all from From: "JP Software Forums" <[email protected]>. That makes it very difficult to follow what's going on.

This is definitely still happening. My filters are completely broken
by this change. Can I assume the issue is being looked at as a matter
of urgency? I'm close to resigning from the forums (or at least
disabling email altogether). I guess I could fix my filters to at
least ensure the mails don't flood my inbox, but I really don't feel
like doing that only to have to fix them again when the problem gets
sorted out.

FYI: Outlook Express filters I use needed no change. Everything is delvired
to its previously designated folder. However, I still cannot answer to the
poster by private email without lots of searching.

Yesterday after Rex posted his message things cleared up for me. But then when I got in this morning everything was all HTML'ed up again.

I'm getting the same thing. It's terribly difficult to read.
