Need help to execute TCC commands on another system

If I have TCC installed on both the system I currently use and another
system on the network, how do I send a command to be executed locally by the
remote system? Neither rexec.htm nor rshell.htm contain an example.

Do you have the rexec service or rshell service installed? In fact, what are
they? The help says one of them is needed.

Microsoft's Remote Console service (NT4 ResKit?) works nicely on XP. It's interactive. As I recall, it requires a kludge to make TCC its shell ... either editing some binary or making CMD.EXE a copy of TCC.EXE.

If interactive works for you, Windows has a built-in Telnet server. I haven't messed with it in years.

I'm pretty sure they're meant for use with a remote UNIX host. Windows hasn't
had the necessary services since NT4. And I doubt they see much use these days
since they're clear-text and (I believe) often blocked by firewalls and not
running (inetd) by default on most servers.

I use the SysInternals psexec for this kind of stuff...

Among other things, I want to have the MKLNK command executed on the
remote system. It does not work on a mapped drive. BTW, rexec.exe is present
my WinXP home system.
