TCC suddenly crashing (not TCC's fault)

I had Symantec Endpoint Protection and Deep Instinct installed, and we were told that we could improve our system performance and still be using company-approved tools by having those two uninstalled and instead, installing Carbon Black Endpoint. As soon as I did that and restarted the system (since it was required by the installation processes), now TCC (and TCMD) crashes. I'm using TCC 16.03 (the latest for v16). I tried reinstalling, by downloading the latest 16.03 x64 from jpsoft.com, and no change. I can't live without TCC! Any ideas on how I might troubleshoot? Windows 10 64-bit.

The crash is not inside TCC's address space, which means that a third-party app is injecting code (probably a Carbon Black dll) and the crash is occurring there.

So it's likely the only way to debug this is to have Carbon Black look at it - have you contacted them?

Have you tried with a more recent version of TCC (one that was written for Windows 10)?

Thanks, Rex. I installed the latest TCC and it doesn't crash.

I'll have to look into how to contact Carbon Black.
