Documentation near or fully obsolete functions

From [title] you mention that %@inc is replaced with SET /A and I was wondering what other functions, etc are near obsolete please?

I think they're mostly pretty obvious -- none of the following will ever be updated.

And, of course, any version of Take Command / TCC that runs on Windows 32-bit. (Version 21 will be x64 only.)

This doesn't include the commands that are still commonly used but actually call other commands (like REN and TITLE).

I'd call those "mature" or "feature-complete", myself.

IMO that would be a completely different list. The ones I listed are 4DOS or early 4NT features that have little relevance to current TCMD / TCC usage.

If Microsoft doesn't bother to fix it, then yes. And @PERL and @RUBY, since those developers thoroughly broke embedded Windows support several years ago and aren't in an all-fired hurry to fix it.

I use LIST all the time since VIEW /W doesn't get along with focus-follows-mouse.

LIST isn't being deleted, but neither is it ever going to have any new features.
