    Odd problem - screen brightness

I'm talking about overall screen brightness. It's almost like the screen driver that controls brightness sees tcc do something that it thinks means the screen needs to be bright. I wouldn't expect it to be something you intend to have happen but a weird side effect. I fully expected to find a...

    Odd problem - screen brightness

I'm playing with tcmd v17 (yes, I know it's an old version) on an HP Spectre x360. I find that whenever I run tcc or tcmd the brightness goes to full. As soon as I exit tcc or tcmd the brightness goes back to normal. Windows 10 Pro v1607. This doesn't happen if I start Windows CMD. Any ideas...

    Windows 10 support

One of the features announced for v18 is Windows 10 support? Does v17 not run correctly on Windows 10? Are there a few batch file additions to Windows 10 that v18 supports? I'm trying to decide if an upgrade to v18 is required for Windows 10 support or not... Thanks.

How to? Help will not Load in View (File Viewer)??

When I copied v.chm to the TCMD folder, the help file for "v" opens, but every page says that navigation to the web page was canceled. Windows 7, x64. I did some searching, and found that I needed to right-click on the .chm file, choose properties, and click the "Unblock" button. Otherwise...

    Problem with TC 13 x64

Ah, you mean the version you uploaded earlier on 1/1? Thanks for fixing it. That's why I filed the report, so you could find the cause and fix it. Since I got TCMD registered via the 32-bit method, is there any reason for me to install 13.03.37? Does it fix anything else? I assume I can just...

    Problem with TC 13 x64

My first message was clear that I was able to register only by uninstalling 64-bit, installing 32-bit, uninstalling 32-bit, and finally installing 64-bit. In oter words I could get the 32-bit to register (at which point it carried over to the 64-bit version). Te 64-bit version failed to accept...

    Problem with TC 13 x64

OK, so I have 64-bit Windows. The first time around (on my desktop) installed over TCMD 10 without removing (install is located in C:\TCMD). On my second machine (a notebook) I tried to do a clear install. Had not installed TCMD previously on that machine. TCMD 13 32-bit installs and registers...

    Problem with TC 13 x64

I just upgraded to TCMD 13 from v10. I tried to install over my TCMD 10 folder, and I found that I was unable to enter the registration information in the x64 version. I always got an app-crash, application has stopped working. I was finally able to register by uninstalling the x64 version...
