Web site downtime

Our website went down around noon today (along with a few thousand other ones) when our host's data center in Dallas had a power failure. Unfortunately, the ATS that was supposed to switch over automatically failed, followed by a cascading series of hardware & human failures that resulted in a complete CF for 8+ hours.

The ATS was replaced, the failed PDUs were replaced, and hopefully everything is back up without any loss of data.

Until today, our host had the best uptime in the business (not any more!). I'll be monitoring the post-mortem to see if they've learned the lessons and implemented fixes to ensure it won't happen again. If not, we'll be moving the JP Software web site somewhere else.

Sorry for the inconvenience!
