Fixed Unable to sort files by description in TCC v19

May 29, 2008
Orion Arm, MWG
As the title says, TCC v19 does not seem to properly sort DIR and PDIR output by description for me when /O:I or /O:AI is specified as the sorting option, which is very necessary for me to do a few specific tasks that aren't worth explaining. Instead, I get a purely alphabetical (by file name) listing, as though I had specified /O:N or specified no sorting at all. Identical, unaliased DIR or PDIR commands in side-by-side v15 and v19 windows give drastically different results, the former being correct and the latter being incorrect. Does anybody else see similar behavior?

I still use DESCRIPT.ION-based descriptions rather than NTFS descriptions, in case that's necessary information.

Thanks in advance for your input.
