TCMD11 Build 22 Will Not Start

After installing build 22, TCMD will no longer run. I get a message that
"Take Command has enountered a problem and needs to close." I'll try
rebooting and see if that helps.

I have seen that message when running on VISTA. Forcing it to run as
admin solved that issue.

I have the same problem on XP. Went back to version 10 until build 23
is released.

I'm running under XP SP3. I had a very hard time getting TCMD11
uninstalled so that I could go back to build 21. It took many tries at
uninstalling and cleaning the registry before TCMD would work at all.

My "Add or Remove Programs" applet still shows two copies of TCMD11, one
for build 21 and one for build 22. I haven't been able to figure out a
way to delete the superfluous entry for build 22.

Back up your registry, then use REGEDIT. Search for every occurrence of
"Take Command". In some instances you need to delete only the match in the
right panel, in others you need to use <Tab> to go to the left side, and you
need to delete either the current entry alone, or you may need to go up in
the hierarchy to find the appropriate level of "hive" to delete. It will
take a while.

BTW, I have no trouble with B22 here, on XP SP3 (home). However, I did not
install it, instead, I used an unorthodox procedure. Using B10, I downloaded
the installer, used 7z to extract all its files, and used move/u into the
V11 installation directory, which had been set up by "properly installing"
an earlier build.

I'm happy to report the build 23 no installs and runs on my system. I'm
also happy to report that the /W option of the TCTOOLBAR command no
longer crashed Take Command. However, there is an oddity in the file it
creates. Mine begins with the following lines:

Title=MainB1=261,,CLS,,,esc "cls" enter
B2=257,,Home,,,esc "home" enter

The first button definition is merged with the tab title. Also, the
first parameter doesn't look right. Other toolbar tabs have the same
problem.

I'm afraid to try TCTOOLBAR /R with this file, so I haven't.

I've fixed the missing CR/LF after the tab title.

The first parameter is correct.
