TCMD10 bug

something is not working right with list view filtering.
i have a directory with four files: test.txt, test.pdf, test.rar, test.zip
now if i select *.pdf in filter box, it still shows test.pdf and test.zip
if i only have test.pdf and test.txt in the directory, it works
i guess it's something about archives (tree view shows directories
inside archives - ?)

another minor thing: tctoolbar /? does not list /w option

You may have to exit and restart Take Command after making this change.

forget to mention that i'm using vista sp1.
the regsvr method actually doesn't work in vista.
but i found a registry fix here:
http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article03-202

with zip folders disabled filtering seems to work correctly.

but i'm not sure about filtering of folders.

1) in Desktop\Username directory, if i put *xxx* in filter box, everything
disappears from list view, including all folders

2) now i change to Computer\C:\test
create new directory testdir
put *xxx* in filter box
->files disappear, directory still there..

something's not working right, as i said before..

That's Windows, not Take Command.

I'll put it another way.

1. I type "cdd /t c:\Windows" in Take Command. (or any other directory)
2. I type "tcfilter x" in Take Command.
3. Directories do not disappear (files do).

Can anyone confirm this?
Again, this is Vista SP1. Take Command v10.0.0.51.

Help file says:
"TCFILTER allows you to set the filter used by the Take Command List View to determine what file *and folder names to display*"

I get the results you describe. It seems the help ought to be changed, or
the behavior ought to be changed.

It's not very consistent either.
Zip files are treated as folders -> not filtered.
Junctions-Folders (e.g. the folders in c:\Users\Username) are treated as files -> filtered.

This MAY be windows fault, but it's rather confusing, especially in a directory with folders, zip files and junctions all mixed.
