The installer still blows away the junction in the user folder but now it shows an error

Error loading resource:

'c:\user\fromano\AppData\Local\Temp\{04BEF...

I think I'm the only one that has this problem, and I'm getting a new machine in a couple of weeks with a larger SSD, so by then it shouldn't be a problem, because I wouldn't relocate my user directory to a different drive

I don't know if it makes any difference but have you tried using a directory SYMLINK instead of a JUNCTION?

Assuming you are running Win7, SYMLINK's are available to you. Use the MKLINK /D command.

Thanks for the suggestion but no dice, blew away the directory symplink too, I think I'll wait until end of the month when I get my new computer and will have a user folder on the system drive
