tccbatch Windows 7 "access is denied"

I just upgraded to Windows 7. TCC seems to have lost its associations.

I tried tccbatch but just got a string of "access is denied" errors.

I tried making the files in JPSOFT read-write but no joy.

I tried running as admin, and it worked.

What OS are you upgrading from? The UAC may be getting in your way.

TCCbatch.btm uses ASSOC and FTYPE, which try to write to the HKCR registry
tree -- which is normally blocked by Windows 7 (if not run inside an
installer).

You can try right clicking on the TCMD or TCC icon, select "run as
administrator", and run tccbatch there.

There is a warning in the TCCBatch program. It might be a good idea to say "Vista or Windows 7", not just Vista. If possibl,e you might check if you are under Admin, and print out an a pause type error if you are not. The message is easy to miss the way it is.
