@ruby closes console

Executing just...

echo %@ruby[2]

...will close Take Command 14.02.38. I have Ruby 1.9.3p215 installed via RailsInstaller (been doing Rails work), in my path, and enabled Ruby in options. Any idea what's going on?

I've spent several days working on this. The Ruby developers seriously broke embedded Ruby for Windows with 1.9. The best I've been able to do is start & run a persistent interpreter -- trying to unload/restart Ruby always crashes.
