In my last two posts I used the web interface to indent text, like this:

When the emails arrived the text which appears indented on the web is (line by line) surrounded by HTML tags whose contents are "neil@jpsoft.com" and "/neil@jpsoft.com" (incased in the customary less/greater symbols). ... very strange.
