History colors

TCC 12.11.74 x64 full. The PopupWinColors directive seems to have been removed. Is it possible to set the command history and directory history colors, as it was in older versions?

They were removed several years ago (in v9, as I recall) when the popup windows were changed from text windows to GUI windows.

The windows now use the default Windows colors, so there is no way to set them other than by changing the Windows defaults.

Okay, thanks for the quick reply.

The TCC window has a blue border; the history windows have a black border (with black text on white background). Is this normal?

Is changing the windows default something one would want to do (if so, how?)?

The borders will depend on what version of Windows you're running. But
since they're being drawn by Windows, they're "normal" by definition!

Usually people change them by selecting a new theme. There are also a
variety of utilities & screen managers out there if you want to customize
individual colors.
