FFIND interrupted by ESC

Using v22.
During a FFIND done on large file to search for text, if you press ESC, it interrupts the search !!!

[0][e:\]ffind /T"xxx" e:\db\kms\SYSKMS.DBF

---- E:\db\kms\SYSKMS.DBF
where bitand(to_number(s.xmldata.flags, 'xxxxxxxx'), 16) = 16

1 line in 1 file

Press ESC
0 lines in 0 files

Is there a way to avoid this ?

It's a feature, and there is no way to disable it.
