Eclipse?

Does anyone else expect to see it? In Syracuse, NY we're close to the edge of the shadow; totality will last about 90 sec. Rochester, Buffalo, and Cleveland will get 3.5 minutes.

Well, that was disappointing. It didn't even get very dark. It was very cloudy and we were just inside the southern edge of the totality zone. I think distant clouds (to the south, outside the totality zone) were lighting up the sky.

Pretty neat here in London, Ontario, Canada.

No clouds at all.

Streetlights came on, gas station sign lit up.

A very eerie darkness.

Dark enough that I thought I saw a star,
possibly Rigel.
