32 and 64 bit simultaneous portable versions

Hi,

I have 2 desktop and 1 portable version of Take Command 24 (to the best of my knowledge).

However, I discovered today that my portable version is 64-bit.

That's fine, obviously for 64-bit OSs. But I still work with 32-bit PCs.

So I tried to install version 24 Portable on a 32-bit machine. When it asks for registration key and I select Portable key, it finishes successfully.

But when I run the 32-bit version, it continues to ask to Register.

I've confirmed that the .key file exists, in both the 64-bit and the 32-bit folder on the flash drive. But the 32-bit version isn't working.

Do I need to purchase a separate 32-bit portable version? And maybe install it on a separate Portable drive? That's not a problem, I just want to know how to approach this.

Regards,

The registration keys are the same for 32-bit and 64-bit.

Did the 32-bit machine already have Take Command installed (locally, not on the USB drive)?

Good point, Rexx. Yes it, did.

Ok, I'll re-try on an 8.1 PC that doesn't have version 24 already installed.

Thanks.
