pdir returns diff results between tcc and tcmd - one is an error msg

I have an alias named 'new'. It's purpose is to display the newest files in a directory, similar to *dir /podr, but it displays only enough to fill half the screen. This way I can issue commands to the newest files and still see the list. The problem I am seeing is that it works fine in TCC...

    Unable to register TCMD v21

Actually, I was able to get build 17 to work. I uninstalled everything, did some further cleanup, and was able to register upon a fresh install. Thanks for everyone's help!

    Unable to register TCMD v21

I can't get to the Options -> Registration tab. Upon startup of TCC, I get the Trial Expired dialog, with options "Buy Now", "Register" and "Exit". When I click on Register, I begin the loop of entering the key only to be told it's expired, etc.

    Unable to register TCMD v21

Yes, and the result was the same, and the TakeCommand.21.key file was recreated with some random license key. From there it was the same looping issue.

    Unable to register TCMD v21

"Take Command v21 (combined 32/64-bit installer)", from [title]

    Unable to register TCMD v21

Deleted it, tried again, same thing. Edited the file and pasted my upgrade key into it - same thing.

    Unable to register TCMD v21

I received an email about the new version 21, so I purchased the upgrade. I downloaded the installer and, when finished, launched TCC. I was informed that TCMD 21 trial had expired, even though it was a first-time install. I selected the "Register" button, and the Register dialog was...

    Recursive move aborts early

So sorry, Rex, can't believe I omitted that. TCC 20.11.46 x64 Windows 7 [Version 6.1.7601] TCC Build 46 Windows 7 Build 7601 Service Pack 1 tcc.exception.log is a 2-byte file consisting of 0xff 0xfe I'll try the /Ne option - not sure what could be fatal about recursing though.. Just...

    Recursive move aborts early

Greetings, I have had this problem with recursive move commands from time to time, but finally decided to post about it. Description of what I'm trying to do: I have a folder, I:\H_drive!\DCIM\, which contains photos and videos from various digital cameras. I am trying to recursively move...

Done Zero-pad the hour field in @agedate[] for hours < 10

I have a batch file that outputs the NTFS date/timestamps on files, and I noticed that while the year, month, day, minutes and seconds fields all have a leading zero for values less than 10, the hours field does not. When I run the batch file on a filespec, this messes up the columnar alignment...

/g option (%) on MOVE cmd appears broken TCC 14.03.57 x64

Is it possible to add a /g option to the rename command, or is that yet another API issue?

/g option (%) on MOVE cmd appears broken TCC 14.03.57 x64

Re-verified in TCC 14.03.57 x64 on Win7 6.1.7601. My alias "move=*move /g" no longer shows percentage moved. This behavior has been in the past couple of builds, have no idea of knowing which ones. *copy /g works, however.

    Take Command 14.02.42?

I did the automated update to 14.02.42 x64 on my Windows 7 x64 machine the other day. It ran just fine for a day or so and now it crashes (I saved the three crash files that were generated if they do anyone any good). I completely uninstalled TCMD using Revo and purged leftover registry entries...
