    x264 with TCC/LE -> strange confirmation prompt

    No plugins, no aliases. It's pretty much a standard installation, with only a few options modified (mostly command history stuff). Is there a way to get TCC to emit some debug output so I (or you) can see what is going on? Thanks, lcg

    No, that wasn't it. (It was already on, BTW; turning it off didn't help, either.) Thanks, lcg

    x264 with TCC/LE -> strange confirmation prompt

    Hi, I am using x264.exe from x264.nl to encode some movies into H.264 format. My current setup works well with cmd.exe, but calling the x264.exe from TCC/LE results in a weird, text-less Yes/No prompt: [ C:\Program Files\JPSoft\TCCLE13x64 ] > "\Program Files (x86)\Videotools\x264.exe" --help...

    updater.exe fails with error message

    Ah, someone with the same problem I have/had, although on a German locale Windows 7. Good find, I never thought to check that file (in fact, I didn't know it existed). After using Process Monitor to track down the problem, my solution was to simply create the additional folder that the updater...

    Changing directory with 'cd ~' does not work

    You are right, of course. When I tested it I did not stare at the screen the whole time. Instead, I worked at something else and when I looked back after some minutes, it had completed without error, so it seemed like it was working. After some more tests, it appears that TCC/LE silently...

    Changing directory with 'cd ~' does not work

    OK, so the history is retained a bit longer than just one version. I still think that having to dig through 14 "What's New" sections after looking up a command just to see whether it works in TCC/LE is not user-friendly. Regards, lcg

    Changing directory with 'cd ~' does not work

    I am sorry, I don't want to argue, but I still don't see it. It lists a few changes marked with an * for "also in TCC/LE". After that, it documents changes for a lot of commands, all without *. One of these is CD with the description of the ~. Now, I could interpret the missing asterisk as "not...

    Changing directory with 'cd ~' does not work

    That's too bad. Then I guess the bug report should be for the help file, which doesn't make clear that the feature is not available in TCC/LE. ;) Regards, lcg

    updater.exe fails with error message

    Hi, I am using TCC/LE 13.00.21 on a German Windows 7 Professional 64bit. When I try to run 'updater.exe /checknow', it errors out with a message that translates as "The system can't find the path specified". Does anybody have the same problem or maybe even a way to fix it? Regards, lcg

    Changing directory with 'cd ~' does not work

    Hi, I am trying to 'cd' to my desktop dir using 'cd ~\Desktop'. According to the help file, this should work (at least that's how I read it). The issue seems to be the ~, as 'cd ~' fails as well. Am I missing something? Or is it a bug in TCC? For reference, this is the output I get: TCC LE...
